Account Deletion Request

To delete your Müzik Dersim account and all associated data (profile information, assignments, messages, media files, practice records), you can use one of the following methods.
1. Delete From Within the App (Immediate)
You can delete your account immediately from the app:
- Open the Müzik Dersim app
- Go to the "Profile" tab
- Tap the "Delete My Account" button at the bottom of the page
- Confirm by entering your password
2. Delete via Email Request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to submit your request by email, send an email titled "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address to destek@muzikdersim.com. Your request will be processed within 7 days, and once confirmed, your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
The following data will be permanently deleted when your account is removed:
- Profile information (name, email, profile photo)
- Teacher-student pairings
- Assigned and completed homework
- Exercise and practice records (score, duration, correct/incorrect statistics)
- In-app messages and shared media files
- Push notification tokens
4. Data That Will Be Retained
Due to legal obligations (tax law, commercial law, mandatory retention under data protection regulations), the following data will be retained for the required legal period (at least 7 years):
- Invoices and payment records of subscription transactions made through Apple App Store / Google Play
- Records shared with legal authorities when required
